Gods do not REALLY need to eat, but for Yato, it’s more of a thing to pass time and
something to enjoy in life. While he doesn’t mind skipping meals, (seeing as a god
needs to be humble and not seek out gluttony), when he’s given a food, specifically
something warm and chocolaty, he’ll pretty much devour it. Pancakes or waffles, as
long as there’s some form of chocolate involved, he’ll take it and eat it.
He specifically enjoys making breakfast for others to make them happy.
